Cancun-the golden snake
Cancun is essentially a top rated beach holiday resort which is famous for surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, parasailing, under water diving, sailing and boating.
Cancun comprises of two areas the Ciudad Cancun and Isla Cancun, and bears a testimony of the Mayan culture. Moving further south the fishing village of Playa del Carmen acts as a wonderful relaxing stop for tourists Besides these there are ecological parks like Xcarnet Eco-Park, Sain Ka’an Biosphere reserve: Croco Cun, Isla Mujeres Turtle Farm known mainly for their beautiful flora & fauna
Since Cancun is mainly a beach resort items made from stuffs available in the sea are more widely found over here, however tourist can also collect the traditional Mexican Hammock, hammock stand and other fine Mexican handcrafts, and silver jewelry as memorabilia back home.
