well go to www.mbta.com it is the subway in boston. I dont know of a historic hotel but examine www.tripadvisor.com

Boston Harbor Hotel is fantastic as nicely as the Downtown Double Tree
boston harbor is a lot more in the center of the city but it is a bit pricey.
